Against Drugs :street play (29/10/2023)


Today something interesting happened in the school. Some kind of resistance movement was happening from Kasargod to Trivandrum. The ending was happened here in St. Mary's school. So as part of the valedictory function, teachers from different school did a street play portraying the dilemmas faced by teachers from different perspectives. It was a very relevant and heart touching play.
Title: "The Dangers of Drugs" Scene 1: - The play opens with a group of students studying together. - One of them, Rohan, suggests trying drugs for fun. - His friends are hesitant, but Rohan convinces them to try. Scene 2: - The friends start using drugs and initially enjoy the feeling. - But soon, they become addicted and start neglecting their studies. - They begin to steal money from their parents to buy drugs. Scene 3: - Rohan's friend, Emma, tries to quit but faces withdrawal symptoms. - She realizes the dangers of drugs and tries to warn others. - But Rohan refuses to listen and continues using drugs. Scene 4: - Emma's words spread awareness among their classmates. - They stage an intervention to help Rohan overcome his addiction. - Rohan finally understands the risks and seeks help. Scene 5: - The play ends with a message about the dangers of drugs. - The students pledge to stay away from drugs and support those struggling. - The school principal thanks them for the thought-provoking performance. This drama aims to educate students about the risks of drug addiction and encourage them to make informed choices.

November 1: Kerala Piravi




St marry's hss celebrated keralapiravi on today, 1 st November . Students made a vegetable kerala on school auditorium...and also a Rally based on the theme of arts of kerala..

People wear traditional attire and decorate their homes with flowers and lights. Traditional Kerala cuisine is prepared and shared with family and friends.
