INNOVATIVE WORK

Here's my innovative approach to teaching solving one-variable linear equations using chart games to Class 9A students, based on the chapter Pairs of Equations. It includes sum and difference of positive and negative numbers, balancing of equations, etc...

Designed "Equation games " chart game to practice solving linear equations.Created a chart with sign conversion and balancing of equation .Students did the games and solved equations.

Correct solutions earned moves, incorrect ones stayed put.Introduced "Variable Viking" game, where students conquered equations.

Developed "Balance Beam" chart, where students balanced equations.Created "Equation Ladder" game, where students climbed by solving.Incorporated "Error Analysis" charts to identify common mistakes.Students designed and exchanged their own equation chart games

Conducted "Equation Tournament" to encourage competition.Assessed understanding through game-based questions and challenges.Modified charts for differentiated instruction and support.

Encouraged peer teaching, collaboration, and problem-solving.Students reflected on their learning through game design and feedback.Chart games made learning linear equations engaging, interactive, and fun!Students developed problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and confidence.
