Anti Drug Day

 Our school observed Anti-Drug Day with enthusiasm and awareness. The event began with a rally, where students held placards and slogans against drug abuse. A guest speaker shared insightful information on the harmful effects of drugs.  Students participated in poster-making, essay-writing, and skit competitions, showcasing their creativity. A pledge-taking ceremony was held, where students vowed to stay away from drugs. A documentary on drug abuse was screened, followed by a thought-provoking discussion. Students created awareness slogans and messages, displayed throughout the school. The event concluded with a strong message: "Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life!"

BLOOD DONOR

  Our school celebrated Blood Donor Day to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation. Students, teachers, and staff participated in the event with enthusiasm. A blood donation camp was organized in collaboration with a local hospital. Students learned about the benefits and process of blood donation. Volunteers registered to donate blood, and many donated for the first time. Guest speakers shared inspiring stories of lives saved through blood donation. Students created posters, slogans, and skits to promote blood donation awareness. The event instilled a sense of social responsibility and encouraged students to become regular blood donors.

INTENSE TEACHING PRACTICE DAY - 1

 The first day of school! As a teacher  ... ❤️❤️ Today was the first day of my intense teaching practice phase - 2. This was my second experience as teacher trainee. The school allotted to me was St. Johns HSS, Nalanchira & the class assigned to me was 8A. I'm so excited to be their maths teacher for coming days❤️🥰 17 of us, were 3 or 4 from each optional was allotted to the school. I was the team leader and the Assistant leader was Shilpa PG from Malayalam optional. Many of us were assigned for substitution duties, SPC exam duties etc🥳 Anxiety about implementing new teaching strategies Excitement to apply theoretical knowledge in practice Nervousness about classroom management and discipline Hope to create engaging lesson plans and activities Apprehension about assessing student needs and abilities Eagerness to use technology and innovative resources Determination to reflect and improve my teaching practice continuously It's a mix of emotions, but mostly, I'm looking...
